Domino will be demonstrating its Generation 6 technology products at Labelexpo 2022. Come April, Domino will have installed over 1,000 digital printing systems based on this proven inkjet platform.
Among the products that will be on display are the Domino N610i 7-color inkjet digital label press, complete with the newly released Esko Version 3 Digital Front End. Plus, the Domino K600i monochrome dual bar, high speed, inline variable data printer with Lake Image Discovery Multiscan Verification System, will also be highlighted. In addition, company experts will be on-hand to discuss the benefits of the Domino N610i Integration Module.
With the Domino N610i press, customers will benefit from both enhanced color reproduction and lower ink consumption. For example, for a CMYK process color input image, which includes a lot of orange, customers can now utilize the orange spot color ink as a substitute for the cyan, yellow and magenta process colors. Print quality is enhanced and for specific jobs, ink cost savings can be substantial, the company says.
Meanwhile, the Domino K600i monochrome dual bar, high speed, inline variable data printer has demonstrated the ability to print over one million different 2D, barcodes and alpha-numeric codes per hour for inline printing on both existing label press and finishing lines. Domino has also launched a new food-packaging compliant LED ink offering to go along with the K600i.
K600i has been designed to assist label converters responding to the rapid growth in online sales and related traceability labels, to meet these requirements. Lake Image Discovery Multiscan system will provide intelligent inline quality inspection and data sequence verification of what is printed, as well.
Finally, the Domino N610i Integration Module has been designed to integrate with a label converter’s preferred handling system for hybrid printing. Domino has already installed this technology in many different press and finishing line systems. The advantage to the converter is they can have a common inkjet platform on their preferred conventional analog printing system and benefit from Domino’s technology and global infrastructure and support.
