K Laser Technology, a global supplier of holographic and metalized printing materials, received strong feedback for what it says is the industry’s only multi-application cold foil substrate, KOLDfoil ONE, and the industry’s first Cold Foil Design Lab.
Show visitors were invited to the K Laser Technology booth to view product samples and discuss specialty print solutions with their team of in-house designers and sales professionals.
KOLDfoil ONE, manufactured exclusively by K Laser Technology, is the only cold foil solution developed to perform on three different printing applications: flexo, digital and offset, the company says. Introduced to the market in 2019, the metalized substrate is known to reduce inventory costs, increase uptime and product consistency, and improve purchasing logistics for label and packaging manufacturers. The proprietary substrate is available in the industry’s largest selection of metalized colors and holographic patterns. Labelexpo attendees were able to view KOLDfoil ONE print and material samples and design inspiration at the K Laser booth. Attendees also saw K Laser's products at OEM partners Brotech (Booth #5621) and A B Graphic International (Booth #3223), where they viewed KOLDfoil ONE in production during their finishing equipment demonstrations.
The companyalso discussed its new Cold Foil Design Lab. The design lab is located in Sarasota, FL, and equipped to assist with packaging ideation, specialty print mockups, digital embellishment equipment demonstrations, and technical education. The facility is occupied by K Laser Technology’s Creative Team to consult on artwork for labels, packaging, shrink sleeves, sheets, folding cartons, and tube packaging designs. Companies designing or redesigning product packaging are encouraged to visit the K Laser Technology booth to schedule a private session in the new facility.
“Innovation requires collaboration, and K Laser Technology has invested in solutions to help foster these interactions to create the best products, services, and designs for our customers. We are fully equipped to be the dedicated creative service partner for specialty print converters and look forward to the impact we can make together," states Nicole Rivera, director of administration and marketing, K Laser Technology.
