LemuGroup is exhibiting its new off-line digital finishing and embellishment system MA-350 at Labelexpo Americas. The new technology is incorporating robotic roll packaging, and its modular functions include spot varnishing, heavy-duty hot stamping and screen printing.
The MA-350 system is being complemented with a GTU glueless turret rewinder and Lemu automatic robotic boxing system.
As with all LemuGroup automation, it can be equipped to run on any digital or traditional flexo press.
Lemu has been incredibly active in the market over the last two years, having announced several partnerships and acquisitions to further its product offerings. Company experts are on-hand at the show to discuss how these moves can improve operations at converters' sites.
Most recently, LemuGroup announced its acquisition of Mida Machinery, a move that was signed and executed as of April 8, 2022. Iñaki Larrea, CEO LemuGroup, "Mida shares the identical vision and values of LemuGroup such as excellence in customer service and long-term growth and partnership with the customer. It will become one of the focal points of growth within the label division for the LemuGroup."
Meanwhile, LemuGroup also partnered with Lemorau to expand its product range. From core cutters and inspection slitter rewinders to completely modular digital finishing and converting units automated with roll label boxing units, LemuGroup is delivering products to help label converters focused on Lean Manufacturing to keep up with increased demand at affordable prices.
“Our ability to assess any converter's needs and deliver an affordable solution to their requirement gives us a very unique position," says Andre Beaudoin, leader of Lemu Group USA's sales and marketing team. "Converters need cost effective, easy to operate equipment that works right out of the crate. In some cases the correct solution allows them to produce more, with less asset expenditure or redundant manpower – working smarter, not harder."
