Following the launch of its new PicoJet 1200 at Labelexpo Americas 2022 in September, digital label press manufacturer Dantex has now added its new fine text capability - SuperText.
Hailed by Dantex as being revolutionary at its unveiling, the new-look 1200 series offers a multitude of features to benefit customers. The inclusion of SuperText, along with Dantex's SuperWhite and DecoTactile technologies, aims to create an unmatched end-to-end capability, while maintaining optimum quality or performance even at high speeds.
SuperText technology has been made possible by elevating the Pico’s hardware and software infrastructure which is further enhanced by the superior engineering standards. Further development of superior screening technologies combined with Dantex's high end Digital Front End, has created the platform for fine-line print quality. This combination allows fine text printing while maintaining optimum solid densities.
Commenting on the development, Dantex Group CEO Ben Danon says, “Our advanced engineering team has been pushing the boundaries to ensure that the new PicoJet 1200 offers our customers everything they need from a single digital platform - the result is pure genius! We now have a press which is capable of producing a white ink opacity up to 92% in a single pass, the ability to create a range of high-quality embellishments to give enhanced detail and vibrancy, and now can also achieve the finest of texts. This is Dantex breaking down the barriers of what's possible in the digital printing space.”
The company’s increased presence in the global digital print market has led to the expansion of its digital division, based at its increased production and R&D facility in Corby, Northants, UK. Dantex has served the label printing industry for over 55 years and established its digital division in 2015, principally to develop its own range of digital presses, launched under the Pico brand. The Pico range of modular digital presses, which have recently achieved the internationally-recognized Made in Britain accreditation, offers today's label printers high quality productivity and versatility in one printing platform.
