Wise, a North American provider of custom business forms, digital print, industrial labels, and tags to the trade, has announced the opening of its new production and warehousing location in Anderson, SC. The new Southeast location offers 36,000 square feet of production and warehouse space. The expansion was necessary to accommodate the company’s explosive growth in the tag and label market.
“Since our entry into this business in 2017, we have been on a steady growth trajectory,” says Bob Saunders, vice president of sales for Wise. “Industrial labels and tags have become our fastest growing area of the business.”
The new plant offers up to 10-color production and full finishing capabilities with room to grow. It is strategically located along I-85, the main thoroughfare for the Southeastern United States. This places the location close to major materials suppliers and offers customers in the region a 1-2-day delivery via UPS ground.
Plus, the label industry is mourning the loss of David Irwin, 58, who most recently served as VP of business development at OMNI Systems. A friend and loyal colleague to many, David was a senior member of OMNI’s management team.
Irwin was a long-time member of the OMNI team, as he joined the company in October of 1995.
