There are a multitude of facets to running a successful business – vision, passion, adaptability to name a few, but many could argue that none are as important as customer relationship and satisfaction. To Atlanta Label, this is what they believe in their core. Their focus on long-lasting business relationships, extremely high customer service standards, and aptitude for solving and delivering on tough projects has made them incredibly successful. To grow this success, they needed a solution that represented who they were. They needed Durst.
Adding a digital printer to their Buford, GA, USA location was necessary for Atlanta Label. After years of outsourcing this aspect of their business, they fell victim to growing lead times and decreases in quality. Wanting only the best for their customers, their must-haves for a new printer were simple: high quality, fast speeds, and a strong relationship with their supplier partner.
“Durst was excellent from the beginning,” says Lyn Thomas, owner and CEO of Atlanta Label. “Our Leadership team was impressed by the speed and 1200 dpi print quality of the printer, and also their customer service and price point.”
The Durst Tau RSC E combines best-in-class print quality and productivity with highest uptime that results in a competitive TCO. The RSC E has maximum print speeds of 170 fpm (upgradeable to 262 fpm), 1200dpi native resolution, and is available with up to eight color options plus highly opaque white.
All Durst printers are equipped with its award-winning Workflow and Analytics software to aid in print production, as well. Thomas went on to say of the installation and learning curve, “We never missed lead times, and our quality exponentially increased. Through the installation, our team had a good grasp on what to do, and Durst support was always there. It was smooth to say the least.”
“It’s always very exciting to partner with and help evolve a business into their next chapter” comments Steve Lynn, director of Labels and Packaging – Sales. “When they began their research into digital print technology, Atlanta Label was recommended to investigate Durst by a print finishing manufacturer, which speaks to the quality of our technology. Now they have entered the digital world with one of the most innovative printers on the market. We look forward to continuing to develop this relationship and help them grow this division of their business.”
Thomas concludes, “We have never had this type of experience with another equipment manufacturer. Durst provided us with the same standard of service that we give to our customers, which is rarely the case in our experience. Durst has set a standard that will be difficult for their competitors to match. As we continue to grow, we are hopeful to buy another Durst soon.”
