ACTEGA has announced its participation in drupa (May 28-June 7, 2024, Dusseldorf, Germany).
“The ACTEGA team will be exactly where they're needed at drupa 2024 – strategically positioned at various touchpoints, around almost every corner of the show,” Jan Franz Allerkamp, head of Business Line Paper & Board, ACTEGA, says. "Our experts will provide visitors with all of the latest information about our comprehensive product lines, providing access to our industry expertise as well as technical and regulatory know-how throughout the event.”
Drupa visitors can explore ACTEGA’s portfolio of water-based barrier coatings, designed to meet the rigorous demands of the packaging industry without compromising on quality or performance. ACTEGA’s barrier coatings ensure that packaging retains its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal throughout its lifecycle.
ACTEGA’s barrier coatings are used for various applications, including baking and food trays, soap boxes, and fast-food packaging.
“We're excited to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of our ACTGreen Barrier Coatings at drupa, designed to provide exceptional protection for a wide range of packaging materials,” Markus Locher, global manager Barrier & Sustainable Packaging Solutions Paper & Board, ACTEGA, says. “Addressing today's consumer trends, our barrier coatings prioritize sustainability.”
ACTEGA will also spotlight its high value finishing portfolio; among the samples showcased will be examples of the effects achievable with UV coatings, metallic effects, drip-off applications, and tactile haptic solutions.
ACTEGA will participate in the drupa platform, Touchpoint Packaging, where major stakeholders in the industry come together to engage in insightful discussions around the future of packaging. ACTEGA's sessions will highlight ECOLEAF – a sustainable metallization technology for labels and packaging. Paolo Grasso, sales director at ACTEGA for ECOLEAF, will be sharing insights about the technology on Thursday, May 30, at 11.00 am CET.
Dennis Siepmann, ACTEGA's head of sustainability, will also speak on the topic of "Towards a More Sustainable Future.” Siepmann will address the pressing need for sustainability across the packaging supply chain and ACTEGA’s contributions to a greener future on Wednesday, May 29th at 11.45 am CET.
