J.E. Doyle Company, of Richfield,
OH, has been acquired by Joseph M.
Lynch from Robert and Ellen Gutermuth.
The acquisition includes J.E.
Doyle Company Ltd., a UK subsidiary,
and Statikil Inc.
Doyle manufactures quality control
systems for the printing, paper converting
and paper manufacturing
industries. Products include cleaning
and static elimination systems.
Lynch, the new owner and president,
has 15 years of executive management
experience in capital
equipment manufacturing, as well as
10 years in banking. He plans to maintain
the existing sales force and
expand the product and service offerings.
“Our aim is to develop new products
and relationships that will
enhance an already solid reputation,”
he says.
In another development, J.E. Doyle
has been named by PrintConcept, of
Germany, as its North American distributor
for UV curing systems for all
types of web presses. The systems feature
a compact lamp head design and
a cassette system that provides uninterrupted
production. According to
Lynch, they offer high volume water
cooling for effective IR reduction, high
UV output, and up to 40 percent lower
energy consumption.
