On-line gauge

July 18, 2005

On-line gauge
NDC Infrared Engineering
Irwindale, CA USA
The new on-line gauge uses proprietary near infrared technology to measure the thickness of ultra-thin film products down to 5 microns or less. The TFG710 thickness sensor gives film extrusion processors fast payback and low lifetime cost of ownership due to a combination of its accuracy, insensitivity to ambient effects; quick, stable calibration; and low maintenance. Designed specifically for cast and biaxially oriented films, it provides real-time thickness measurement with a single scan.
