UV hot melts
Fletcher, NC USA
New UV hot melts are acrylics that are cross-linked after coating. Photoinitiators, polymerized into the adhesive to prevent migration, start the cross-linking reaction when exposed to UV radiation. Cross-linking results in increased shear and gives the adhesive good resistance to chemicals, water and high temperatures.
