Paxar acquires
French fashion label
specialist
By acquiring Europrint SA for $7 million for cash, Paxar Corporation consolidates its already strong position within the European garment labeling scene. It’s also a prestigious deal. Based near Paris, Europrint is one of France’s leading designer of fashion labeling products with major retailers and brand manufacturers among its customers. Turnover during the past 12 months reached around $10 million.
Paxar claims to be a global leader in providing value-added identification and tracking solutions to retailers and apparel manufacturers. “Creativity and fashion design are Europrint’s core competencies,” says Paul J Griswold, president and CEO.
