Louis Bruno

Louis Bruno, founder of Harris & Bruno and father to Nick Bruno, died recently. Bruno founded Harris & Bruno in 1948 with his partner at the time, Mel Harris. Together they established a highly reputable “machine-shop” located in the East Bay of Northern California. As time passed, Harris decided to sell his half of the business back to Bruno, although they both agreed to keep the company name. In the early 1980s Nick Bruno, Louie’s only child, began working with his dad. In 1986 Nick purchased the company from his father and continues to operate the business.
