Two educational events for converters have been scheduled by Mark Andy/Comco, one in Worcester, MA, and the other in the Cincinnati area.
The company’s sixth Educator Series seminar, The 2002 Comco Flexo Open: “The Hole-In-One of Packaging Solutions”, will take place June 19-20 at the company’s Advanced Technology & Training Center in Milford, OH. The forum is focused on issues facing today’s print and packaging buyers and the industry’s printers and converters. The program will spotlight package planning and production management strategies; and will explore new technologies within the folding carton and flexible packaging segments.
“Today’s Markets and Technology” will be held May 14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Worcester, MA. The program will focus on relevant technical and market information, and will cover some of the issues facing flexo printers today.
Jack Kenny, editor of Label & Narrow Web magazine, will deliver the keynote address on the state of the narrow web industry. Program topics include today’s markets, printing technologies, anilox rolls, prepress, and film substrates.
