Rotoflex Int’l. donates
inspection unit to DFI
Rotoflex International, of Mississauga, ON, has donated a Model VSI-330 inspection slitter/rewinder to DiTrolio Flexographic Institute (DFI), Broadview, IL.
“By learning to operate and problem solve on such equipment, DFI students can deliver higher productivity rates, lower product waste, and quicker turnaround times when they finally perform on the production floor,” says Ed Morrison, marketing manager for Rotoflex. “Such bottom-line, end-result approaches have earned DFI its reputation as a well-known and respected flexo training facility.”
“Partners like Rotoflex are an integral part of the educational experience at DFI,” says Vincent DiTrolio, vice president and training administrator for DFI. “We couldn’t accomplish the full potential of our curriculum without having the most current tools of the trade. Our collaborative relationships with industry partners allow us to provide the most effective educational program for press operators in the Midwest by utilizing hands-on operations, real-time experiences, and exposure to state-of-the-art industry techniques and products. Our graduates are prepared to be efficient on the production floor, and they contribute directly to the company’s bottom line with improved productivity, higher quality, and lower waste.”
