British PM opens
UCB Films’ R&D Centre
The new E9 million UCB Films Research & Development Centre was officially opened in August by Britain’s prime minister, Tony Blair.
The center, occupying 18,000 square feet adjacent to the company’s production site at Wigton, England, will be the focus of new product development, product enhancement, and validation of emerging technologies and raw material qualification.
UCB Films is part of the Belgium based UCB Group, which has interests in pharmaceuticals, chemicals and film products.
