Reid Graphics, of Andover, MA, has acquired Package Systems Corporation (PSC), of Danielson, CT. The acquisition was announced in early October.
Package Systems manufactured flexographic labels and is a distributor of label application and printing equipment serving the medical, pharmaceutical, hardware, industrial and consumer markets. The business of PSC has been absorbed into Reid Graphics, and all equipment has been moved to Andover. PSC had been owned by Alpine Investors.
The addition of PSC extends and augments Reid Graphics’ suite of labeling and product identification solutions. The company’s new name will be Reid/PSC Printing and Manufacturing.
Reid Graphics manufactures custom printed flexographic and screen products for use in the high technology food, pharmaceutical, industrial and consumer markets. The company is owned by Steve Dunlevy, president. The acquisition will give Reid/PSC combined revenues of between $12 and $15 million this year.
The purchase of PSC has increased the number of presses at Reid from eight to 13. PSC had four Webtrons and one Roto Press.
