NELMA plans expo, names new officers
Members of the North East Label Manufacturers Association (NELMA) have elected Tom Spina to lead the organization for 2003. Spina is president of Luminer Converting Group, Lakewood, NJ.
Elisha Tropper, president of Prestige Label, of Brooklyn, NY, serves as vice president. The treasurer is Leslie Gurland, vice president of marketing for Logotech, Fairfield, NJ. Secretary is Bob Amaranti, flexographic instructor at Bergen Technical High School.
NELMA’s second Label Manufacturer’s Expo is scheduled to be held May 8 at a hotel in central New Jersey. The event will feature tabletop exhibits by about 35 industry suppliers, plus educational forums with topics germane to label converters.
