Tapp Technologies buys
two HP Indigo presses
Label converters who enter the digital printing era usually start with the acquisition of one press. Tapp Technologies, of Langley, BC, and Napa, CA, has gone digital with the purchase of two HP Indigo ws4000 presses.
“We’re excited about our move into digital offset, as we feel it is the future of printing,” says Jay Tapp, president and CEO of the company, a narrow web offset printer that consistently wins industry awards for its production of wine labels. “The deciding factor was the massive improvement in graphic resolution with HP Indigo technology, together with the huge potential savings in set-up and makeready time.”
