The SUPERPROX Model SM900 sensor uses high frequency sound instead of light, making the sensors virtually unaffected by common hindrances, including changing light conditions, dirt and dust. It is designed for tight spaces, featuring a long range, short deadband and approximately 1.2″ threaded housing. Typical applications include detection of container backups and gaps, web breaks and holes, end of rolls and coils, and a variety of other applications.
