Raflatac redesigns Spanish operation
After nearly a year of planning and preparation, Raflatac Iberica S.A. is fully operational. Located in Polinya, Spain, just outside of Barcelona, the factory is central for the transportation of Raflatac material throughout the world.
Raflatac, based in Finland, manufactures paper-based and synthetic self-adhesive label stock and laminates.
The redesigned factory produces all sheet, A4 and special products for the European market. Raflatac Iberica also acts as a distribution center for the Iberian Peninsula.
The updated factory houses coaters, two new finishing centers both for sheet and roll products with an automated warehouse and two new automated packing lines.
The plant also features an updated laboratory and printing test services which can provide better quality control and product development, as well as a modern testing facility for Raflatac products.
