Mark Andy & MPS
dissolve partnership
Citing a diversification of strategic interests, Mark Andy and MPS have mutually agreed to end their three-year technology partnership, which saw the US company undertake sales and service responsibilities of the Dutch manufacturer’s EP equipment outside of Europe. Specifically, this applies to the MA 7000 model, although Mark Andy says it will continue to support customers in North America who have installed the press.
“With the acquisition of Comco in 2001, our future strategy is better served by focusing our global efforts on the Comco products,” says Greg Palm, Mark Andy’s vice president of sales and marketing.
MPS will focus on existing and new products in areas outside Europe, according to Eric Hoendervangers and Bert van den Brink, the managing directors: “Due to our growth plans in Europe we felt a strong customer demand for globalization. MPS has started a business expansion program which includes sales and service worldwide.”
