Double-sided label stock

July 20, 2005

Double-sided label stock
Raflatac
Tampere Finland
Duoface label stock is made of two face layers that are mutually supportive, each performing the role of release liner for the other. Silicone and adhesive are applied in alternate stripes to the two face layers, which are applied together so that each silicone stripe meets its adhesive counterpart. This makes it possible to use the material like a normal label stock. The company is offering two separate products: Jetlaser Duoface, an uncoated machine finished paper for multifunctional information labeling, and Raflasilk Duoface, a multipurpose label paper. The adhesive used is a permanent acrylic.
