Gap Master
Kocher + Beck’s product line includes laser hardened flexible dies; magnetic, printing, hot stamping, and anvil cylinders; pressure monitors; and patented adjustable anvil systems named Gap Master. The system contains a special anvil cylinder enabling adjustments of the step between the anvil and magnetic cylinder, in order to compensate for variations in the thickness of the backing material. It also extends the life of rotary dies. The new “Gapmaster Plus” version allows the press operator to change the step by increments of 0.8 micron (3/100000"). This adjustment can be done on both the operator and gear side at the same time, or just on the gear side to give maximum flexibility.
