Labels, RFID are focus
of new AWA reports
AWA Alexander Watson Associates has announced two new publications: “Labeling Markets: European Sourcebook 2004” and “AWAreness Report RFID Tag & Label Market — A Review of Global Opportunities”.
Labeling Markets: European Sourcebook 2004 looks at the market from an industry perspective and re-assesses the changing competitive and trading environment. The study focuses on product decoration and identification with particular emphasis on face materials required to produce labels as well as direct printing and flexible packaging where a separate “label” is not used. Global trends, consolidation, purchasing, electronic commerce and growth opportunities are also highlighted.
AWAreness Report RFID Tag & Label Market — A Review of Global Opportunities outlines the background and benefits of RFID technologies, and highlights the current status and future prospects for them worldwide. The report also:
• outlines the global market structure worldwide for RFID tag and label materials;
• evaluates the present and future demand for RFID by end user market and geographic region in terms of volume and estimated value;
• reviews the primary product requirements within each market sector and the impact of the functional properties of RFID technologies; and
• examines the status of other security and asset management technologies in relation to RFID.
Details are available from AWA via telephone at 31-20-676-2069 in the Netherlands; by e-mail at conferences@awa-bv.com, and at the group’s web site: www.awa-bv.com.
