Maxson Automatic Machinery Co.
Westerly RI USA
The company is offering a sheeter that enables converters to produce sheets of preprinted holographic material. It is outfitted with a shaftless unwind, web steering unit, slitter rig, cut-to-registration unit and a high resolution scanner. The scanner can detect registration marks embedded in the holographic web. A motion control program governs the positioning of the cross cut to maintain tolerances to within ±0.006" of the registration mark, regardless of sheet length or line speed.
