Label converters were counted among the exhibitors at Health & Beauty America, a trade show held at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York City, September 28 through 30. Despite rainy weather conditions that put a damper on opening day turnout, attendance was considered healthy overall.
Approximately 30 label suppliers exhibited. Some narrow web converters commented on the interest in short run orders at a show catering to beauty and personal care consumer companies. Others noted the absence of employees from consumer product powerhouses on the floor of the exhibition hall.
“It’s a public relations show rather than an account development show, although we do get a few here and there,” commented Bill Armstrong from Logotech, headquartered in Fairfield, NJ.
