Mark Andy’s “Flexo Focus” Educator Series continues April 27 with a seminar on “In-line RFID Solutions for Today’s Converters”. The event is co-sponsored by Tamarack Products, of Wauconda, IL, USA, and will take place at Mark Andy’s Advanced Training and Technology Center in Milford, OH (Comco production plant).
The aim of the seminar is to show “how RFID labels really get made” from a production standpoint, focusing on the profitable aspects of delivering finished RFID labels. Topics to be covered by various industry speakers include current market opportunities; how converters will make money in RFID; who is demanding the applications from the consumer market segments; current and successful narrow web flexo equipment for RFID; and discussions of RFID’s future.
The RFID label manufacturing process will be demonstrated at the event on a Mark Andy 2200 equipped with the Tamarack P500 RFID inserting module.
