3 Sigma expands
its plant in Ohio
3 Sigma Corporation, a supplier of specialty coated and adhesive products, is expanding its operation in Troy, OH, USA, and has broken ground for a 45,000 square foot addition. The facility will grow from its current size to approximately 85,000 square feet. The increase is required to accommodate additional new equipment and technology that will become operational in late 2005.
New office space will be added as well in anticipation of increased staffing required to support the new operations.
According to company President Gregory J. Iammarino, “We are adding an additional area of coating technology to increase our product capability and support to our existing customer base. The three new coating lines will also allow us to service markets and applications in which we currently do not participate. The past two years have seen substantial growth for 3 Sigma. By augmenting our technology base, we hope to continue our growth trend through increased capacity and expand our product offerings.”
3 Sigma services the PS label industry and manufactures specialty items such as Sigmature and Sigmaflex pressure sensitive products as well as repositionable RPN Mail and News Labels.
