AWA to acquire in-mold label conference
AWA Alexander Watson Associates, of Amsterdam, Netherlands, has agreed to acquire the rights to the International In-Mold Labeling Conference (IMLCON) from RBS Technologies Inc., Scottsdale, AZ, USA.
Ron Schultz, president of RBS, who created the conference in 1992, will work with AWA during the transition period, which will conclude in 2008. “I am pleased that IMLCON is joining the AWA series of label industry conferences,” says Schultz. “AWA’s expertise in conference organization and its broad knowledge base in the labeling industry makes it the logical choice to continue and enhance the growth of the in-mold conference.”
RBS Technologies is a consulting firm serving the flexible packaging, converting and label industries and their suppliers since 1989.
The next IMLCON will be held in Amsterdam October 26-28. Details are available at www.rbstechnologies.com or via the AWA site: www.awa-bv.com.
