Silcolease PC-263 is a thermal solventless silicone polymer that provides a release coating with coefficient of friction values significantly lower than what is achieved with a traditional thermal solventless system and equivalent to what is achieved with a tin-solvent system. A new radiation-curable epoxy silicone polymer has also been developed. Designed to adhere to untreated polyester and other polymeric films, Silcolease PC-615 provides a high clarity release coating ideal for film-on-film PS labels. It also allows converters to coat films without the need for chemical or corona treatment or the addition of costly, troublesome adhesion promoters.
