Chemsultants, PSTC form tape testing group
Chemsultants, of Mentor, OH, USA, has announced a collaboration with the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) to provide the industry with a variety of additional educational opportunities in the area of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape testing, as well as a resource for tape testing equipment.
The group is called the Alliance for Excellence in Tape Testing.
Chemsultants has developed a training program covering 12 of the most popular PSTC test methods from the current edition of the PSTC Test Method manual. The video based training program is available on DVD with narration in English, Spanish and Chinese as part of a new training kit. The kit also contains a copy of the current PSTC Manual, a copy of the latest Chemsultants lab testing capabilities brochure and a catalogue on disk of ChemInstruments testing equipment.
Chemsultants is in its second year presenting of a hands-on technical training workshop, Introduction to PSA Tapes and PSTC Test Methods, geared specifically for technical personnel involved in QC/QA and R&D testing of PSA tapes.
