Wikoff Color acquires Frontier Printing Inks
Wikoff Color Corporation, Fort Mill, SC, USA, has purchased the assets of Frontier Printing Inks, a Canadian manufacturer of printing inks for the flexible packaging, label, fine paper and paperboard markets.
Established in 1951, Frontier Printing Inks specialized in inks for flexographic and gravure printing. The company has enjoyed success in the flexible packaging market through a commitment to product development and technical service. Frontier Inks 80 employees and four manufacturing plants in three Canadian provinces: two in Ontario, one in British Columbia and one in Quebec. Martin Hambrock, president of Frontier, joins Wikoff as VP Canadian operations.
Wikoff Color, an employee-owned company founded in 1956, manufactures printing inks and coatings for the graphic arts industry. It has 600 employees in 32 manufacturing locations, and three sales/service centers.
