The new D-line of coated doctor blades has been developed specifically for use in flexo and gravure printing applications. Duralife is used in gravure and flexo applications with pearlescent, white and metallic inks. It is gentle to anilox rollers and gravure cylinders. Decolife is used in flexo applications only. It is mainly used for very abrasive printing and coating applications. Decolife and Duralife are available in many tip configurations and thicknesses.
