AWT, Web Label merge companies
Advanced Web Technologies (AWT) and Web Label combined their respective businesses effective September 7. AWT and Web Label are both narrow web flexographic printers based in Minneapolis, MN, USA. The combined company will focus its efforts on increasing sales with existing customers through marketing and branding while continuing to focus on acquiring new accounts that match the strengths of the company.
Several primary markets served by the combined company include medical device, prime, OEM, direct mail, and brand protection. John Colwell, current CEO and majority shareholder of Web Label, will serve as president and CEO of the combined company.
Both companies will continue to operate out of their respective facilities while a search is conducted for a suitable facility to house the combined operations. Mark Gubash, vice president of manufacturing for AWT says, “The opportunity to merge operations with Web Label provides both companies the possibility to leverage their technologies and innovations, allowing us to offer greater capabilities and increased capacities.”
