Knife positioning system
Dienes Werke
Overath Germany
Dienes Werke now offers QUIK-SET, a knife positioning system that the company says maximizes time savings by moving all knife holders simultaneously. The system uses computer controls, which makes it more accurate. Dienes says the QUIK-SET system can change all holders in five seconds with precise position accuracy. The system is available with any Dienes shear or crush cut holder, though shear cut systems require a motor driven female knife. QUIK-SET features include linear bearing and rail guiding, touch screen control and a small installation envelope. The company says users will see many benefits, including increased profits.
