Specialty release films
CPFilms
Fieldale VA USA
CPFilms offers polyester-based release liners that the company says are especially well-suited for medical applications. The films include UV5A, UV10, UV30, UV50, and UV100 UV-cured and S10 fluorosilicone release. Each of the liners is included in a Drug Master File (DMF) filing to the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), submitted in late 2004. There are several examples of medical applications that often require the use of release films: transdermal drug delivery systems, disposable diagnostic test materials, wound closure materials, adhesive bandages, and medical tapes.
