Thermal transfer
Green Bay Packaging
Green Bay WI USA
Green Bay Packaging introduced two new thermal transfer labelstocks at Labelexpo. They use thinner facestocks, which the company says offer material cost savings. Thinner material results in a lighter weight label and smaller rolls of finished labels. Economy Thermal Transfer labelstock uses a 2.5 mil super-calendared kraft liner while Ultra Economy Thermal Transfer uses a 1.8 mil glassine liner. Both labelstocks can withstand high speed diecutting and stripping.
