The California Division of GM Nameplate, a printing and converting company in Seattle, WA, USA, a leading manufacturing solutions provider, has been awarded a 2006 Premier Print Award for outstanding achievement in the production of flexo printing.
The Premier Print Awards are hosted by the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF). The awards recognize creativity and production of outstanding print communications. GM Nameplate, California Division, won three Certificates of Merit for Mario Skins, HP Color Laser Jet and Cowan Vineyards wine labels.
Competing against more than 5,500 entries from printing and graphic arts firms around the world, the judges bestowed on GM Nameplate the award which honors technical excellence in each category of the competition.
“Every day, in each of our divisions, our employees produce award winning work. Our customers demand this level of performance and even though our corporate culture expects it, it is always an honor to be recognized by the industry as a company that produces superior quality, award winning materials,” says Bruce Cleckley, president of the California division.
The Premier Print Awards is the printing industry’s oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition. In its 57th year, the competition recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications. The event promotes excellence in print and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
