WorkflowOne facility earns 2 ISO certifications
WorkflowOne, a provider of document and business process outsourcing services based in Dayton, OH, USA, has announced that its Goshen, IN, USA facility has become the company’s first manufacturing plant to earn both the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 169949:2002 quality management process certifications from the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). The certifications are based on an independent audit conducted in November 2006 that resulted in a perfect score for the facility.
The Goshen plant is a manufacturer of printed labels and business forms, with expertise in integrated form/label combinations, inline pattern adhesive coating and pressure seal products. Labels produced in Goshen can be found on automobiles and automotive subsystems across North America. The plant has been a label solutions supplier to the automotive market for decades.
“Continuous quality improvement has been a long-standing core value of our manufacturing process,” says John Hartwell, vice president of operations. “Having Goshen pass the ISO/TS audit with a perfect score validates our efforts by meeting an externally recognized standard. It will allow us to compete more effectively in other markets that demand rigorous quality control.”
WorkflowOne’s Goshen team, along with corporate engineering support, has been developing its quality management process to meet the high standards of ISO and IATF for most of 2006. Plans are also under way to earn ISO/TS 16949 certification for WorkflowOne’s Charlotte, NC, USA facility in 2007.
