Loparex expands its Asian operations
Loparex, a global manufacturer of release papers and other products, has opened a sales office in Vietnam. The office is led by Nguyen Phu Hai, who has been appointed Loparex’s sales manager for Vietnam.
“The economic growth rate in Vietnam is high and a lot of foreign investments are being made in this country,” says Hai. “The business environment is good: The political situation is stable and there is a young and productive labor force available. Our aim is to ensure better local service to our Vietnamese customers.”
Loparex also has announced new investment in the expansion of its joint venture operation in India. The expansion program will increase Kaygee-Loparex’s production capacity and enable better customer service in the domestic Indian market as well as African and Middle Eastern markets.
Kaygee-Loparex India Pvt. Ltd. is a 50/50 joint venture between Loparex Group and the Godha family since 2001. The production unit is located in Silvassa, some 180 kilometers north of Mumbai. Kaygee-Loparex manufactures siliconized release paper and films for self-adhesive labelstock, holograms, tattoos, double-sided tapes, feminine hygiene products, medical products, packaging, and many other end uses. The substrate range is wide and several different silicone types and curing methods are available. The company is the South Asian region market leader.
