Ashland invests in its adhesives business
Ashland’s Specialty Polymers Adhesives (SP) business recently installed equipment valued at more than $2 million to enhance service and capabilities for its printing, packaging and coatings product lines. SP is a business group of Ashland Performance Materials, a division of Ashland Inc., Dublin, OH, USA.
The equipment was installed in Ashland’s Columbus, OH, and Oak Creek, WI, USA, facilities. The investment continues the company’s commitment to support current and future business growth and continues the company’s expansion of its SP business.
Ashland has integrated its purchase of the former Northwest Coatings business and recently closed on its purchase of the pressure sensitive adhesives and atmospheric-emulsions businesses from Air Products and Chemicals Inc.
Ashland Inc., a global chemical company, operates through four divisions: Ashland Performance Materials, Ashland Distribution, Valvoline, and Ashland Water Technologies
