Sani-Blast has reengineered its anilox roll cleaning system. The new system is more powerful and user-friendly with a low profile for easy use and storage, the company says. The horsepower has been increased for smoother operation and the vacuum increased for improved dust control. The systems still offer an on-press or off-press option using the sodium bicarbonate formulation. Baking soda is sustainable and gentle so it can be applied at high pressure to reach the bottom of the anilox roll cell without danger of damage to the highest line count rolls. This operation is dust-free and requires no recycling, which means dried ink and glue is not recycled.
