White Film, Adhesive

November 29, 2011

UPM Raflatac has announced the launch of its 2.6 mil PP Hi-Opacity White TC films for the Americas market. According to the company, these films are ideal for health and beauty, pharmaceuticals and food labeling applications that require high press performance and shelf appeal. The films are designed for flexographic printing with film inks and are available with RP37, the company’s water-based emulsion adhesive for films and a variety of paper and film liners. The company has also developed a range of products constructed with RP45, its permanent, water-washable adhesive. These products are designed for food and beverage labeling applications that require thorough wash-off. One of the products in the RP45 range has recently been approved by the Association of Postconsumer Plastic Recyclers for use on recyclable PET clamshell packaging.
