OKI Data Americas announces the addition of two distributors – Northern Graphic Solutions and Canadian Printing Equipment, Ltd. – to the proColor division’s growing network throughout Canada. Both organizations now offer select products from the OKI proColor Series of high definition color printers, including the OKI pro900DP Digital Envelope Press and the OKI pro510 Digital Web Press, which are designed for use within the flexographic, and graphic arts and production markets.
“The addition of Northern Graphic Solutions and Canadian Printing Equipment, Ltd. to the OKI proColor distribution network within Canada reflects the brand’s growth and the line’s marketability within the flexographic and graphic arts and production markets,” says Rich Egert, general manager of the Strategic Technology Provider Business Group for OKI Data Americas. “OKI’s proColor series offers a comprehensive product line that satisfies the needs of the industry through our innovative and cost-effective digital printing solutions. Now even more customers will be able to see first-hand the enhanced features and functionality of our high impact digital printing devices that deliver short-run solutions for color-critical applications.”
Northern Graphic Solutions is a Canadian Flexographic distributor based in Vaughan, Ontario. “We believe every flexo converter must look to invest in digital technology. Northern has investigated several digital technologies for quality, reliability, flexibility, cost of operation and return on investment, and we selected the OKI 510DW Digital Web Press as our solution of choice for label applications,” says Martin Babler, president of Northern. “OKI’s digital printing technology is groundbreaking. The capabilities, the quality and the simple operation of the OKI pro510DW make it an optimal choice for our customers within the flexographic market.”
Canadian Printing Equipment, Ltd. (CPE) of Winnipeg, Manitoba offers pre-press, digital and offset printing, bindery and finishing equipment throughout western Canada. According to CPE’s president, Ken McCallum: “As we sought to supplement our product line with digital offerings, quality was a key consideration. We were looking for ‘unconventional’ digital equipment – products that delivered high quality, short run output and a strong value proposition. That’s why we selected the OKI proColor printers.”
