Polyonics has designed an ultra-thin, white-coated, polyimide label material that uses a 0.5 mil film for space constrained electronics. The XF-616 is a high-temperature, thermal transfer printable material with an aggressive acrylic adhesive to ensure superior bond permanence. It is designed to provide a 20% lower profile and to survive the harsh environments of electronic manufacturing, including high process temperature and harsh chemicals found in the circuit board processing industry. Applications for this label include: LED monitors, battery labels, tablets and hand held devices. XF-616 complies with the requirements of RoHS and REACH, and is certified to be halogen free to the IEC 61249-2-21 levels.
