AIM, Cranberry Township, PA, USA – The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) has appointed two new consultants. Ken Koldan will serve as business development executive director and Steve Halliday will serve as the committee and standards coordinator.

AIMCAL, Fort Mill, SC, USA – The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) has elected Steve Jackson and Milan Moscaritolo to its Board of Directors. The membership also re-elected four directors: Ingrid Brase, Dante Ferrari, Doug Krasucki and David Bryant.

CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY, San Luis Obispo, CA, USA - Harvey Levenson (1), longtime professor and head of Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication Department, will retire at the end of this academic year in June. He will be succeeded by longtime professor Kenneth Macro (2).

GALLUS GROUP, St. Gallen, Switzerland - Chairman of the Board Peter Hauser has announced his retirement. The Board of Directors has elected Stephan Plenz, already a member of the Board of Directors, to be the new Chairman. Klaus Bachstein has been elected to the Board of Directors and will become delegate of the Board. Georg Riescher (3) has been appointed head of research and development for the label business of Gallus.

LOPAREX, Apeldoorn, the Netherlands –  Jan Hilbrink (5) has been appointed as managing director for Loparex – Europe.

MG AMERICA, Fairfield, NJ, USA – Randy Fraatz (6) has been named business development manager. Michele Leonardi (7) has been appointed regional sales manager. Andrea Berardi (8) has joined the company as field service engineer.

MICHELMAN, Cincinnati, OH, USA – Federica Galli has been hired as new business development manager – fibers and composites.

NPTA, Chicago, IL, USA – NPTA has announced its 2013 Board of Directors. The officers are: Donald Clampitt, Travis Mlakar, Hilton Maze, Clay Ellis and Greg Savage. The 2013 directors include: Mike Graves, Edward Kniep, Brad Perry, Julie Schertell, Mark Ushpol and Andrew Wallach.

TAPPI, Atlanta, GA, USA – Robert Feeser, Kirt Cuevas and Daniel Cappell have been elected to begin three-year terms on the TAPPI Board of Directors. They will join Thomas Garland and Chris Luettgen, who will serve as TAPP chair and vice chair, respectively.
