Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd. has announced the development of a new range of UV flexo matte varnishes. The range includes EL370, EL371 and EL372, satin, matte and super-matte, foil blockable formulations that reduce wash up and press downtimes. According to Managing Director Gary Seward: “All printers have experienced the perennial problem of matte varnishes thickening in the duct during medium to long print runs that then require a heavy anilox to transfer the product. This in turn creates UV curing and overprinting issues. As part of our continuous product review procedures, I challenged our technical department to develop a range of UV matte varnishes that would provide a solution. Having tested the products with one of our customers, we are confident in having brought another new development to market that not only improves print quality, but also reduces press downtime costs for our customers.”
