ROBAR

April 10, 2013

ROBAR by Innovatum has been designed to ensure product traceability and food safety while streamlining business processes. It ensures capability with the Food and Drug Administration’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), which is expected to impact all food categories. ROBAR deploys with a GS1 US-certified label design and print engine, which supports the GS1 DataBar. The system seamlessly integrates labeling with any major ERP or similar enterprise system, merging variable data with approved label templates at print time. It enables users to centrally manage the entire label lifecycle, automate manual, paper-based label approvals, and to print labels in any international language (including double-byte character sets like Japanese Kanji and Chinese) with full Unicode compliance.
