X-Rite and its subsidiary Pantone have released the Ci7800, a benchtop sphere spectrophotometer. It is designed to help customers achieve consistent color across the entire plastics supply chain, from concept design through final product.
The portable and compact spectrophotometers, which include 45/0 spectrophotometers, are intended to help plastic manufacturers or suppliers to understand, manage and control color at any stage of production.
The product’s color management software reduces guesswork in evaluating color, reduces color formulation costs and allows verification, optimization and certification of performance of color measurement devices.
