The Durst Group’s Tau RSCi label printer made its debut in the American market in mid-2021 with an installation at Accu-Label of Fort Wayne, IN. The main objective of this investment was to drive the transformation from flexo to digital. One year on, the firm’s verdict is overwhelmingly positive.
“The Tau RSCi is a real game-changer for us that’s helping to write the next chapter in our success story with digital label production,” asserts Dave Manning, president of Accu-Label.
Production Manager DJ Manning adds, “The Tau RSCi has halved the costs for consumables, and the print speed is up to five times higher compared to alternative solutions. It’s precisely this combination that makes the Tau RSCi unbeatable when it comes to digital label printing. And the color consistency the Durst solution provides is an enormous advantage where recurring jobs are concerned.”
Meanwhile, from September 12 to 16, 2022, Munich, Germany will bring together beverage industry experts from all over the globe for Drinktec, a trade show for the beverage industry. MCC (Multi-Color Corp.) will be at the event and will launch The Label Lab, where MCC experts will take visitors on a deep dive into the latest developments and innovations in beverage labeling.
“We’re delighted to have the opportunity to welcome back customers from all over the world to our booth at Drinktec,” says Joerg Waldorf, executive vice president of global sales at MCC. “We will be demonstrating products across every label solution for both the beverage and wine & spirits markets. This year, our label & sustainability experts will hold seminars for visitors to get an in-depth insight into the latest advances in key topics such as sustainability, premiumization and smart packaging.”
